Blake McKinney’s appetite for product innovation and consumer insight came very early. As part of his high school’s food advisory board, Blake helped launch some district-wide healthy food alternatives. First came salad bars, then iced tea. All before healthy was “in.” Today Blake heads up latitude, a branding and experiential unit within The Richards Group. After 15-plus years with the agency, he’s still hungry. Blake brings a refreshingly holistic approach to marketing, firmly grounded in the knowledge that brand impact must reach far beyond the walls of a store or a single event. Blake began his agency career working on Corona beer, helping it break the Import Top 10 list and eventually peaking at number one. Keeping with the beverage theme, Blake has handled other top beverage brands. As man cannot survive on beverages alone, Blake also brings CPG, health insurance, medical device, technology, and banking experience to the table. A table where his wife and their three fun-loving kids share healthy meals of salad and iced tea, no doubt.
