    September 9, 2016

Juicy and tender Peach Pulled Pork Sliders made with peaches, a citrus spicy slaw and Tony Roma’s Tender & Juicy Pulled Pork – Kansas City Sweet Hickory. The combination is perfect. A bit spicy and sweet and with the tanginess of the Kansas City sweet hickory BBQ flavor.

  • My Summer BBQ Fix with Tony Roma's

    September 9, 2016

What is a BBQ without some good sides, including a few that don’t take a lot of time, or leave you feeling guilty afterwards? I’m a sucker for a good, cheap, take-out style coleslaw with only semi-crunchy cabbage, and a sweet sauce that immediately falls to the bottom of the dish, soaking into everything around it if you’re not careful.

  • Pulled Pork Macaroni and Cheese

    August 17, 2016

Creamy stovetop macaroni and cheese is topped with pulled pork for a delicious side dish at your next BBQ. I've talked about how much I love grilling in the summer. Just a whiff of smoke coming from a neighbor's yard will having me craving barbecue. A few weeks ago, we had my husband's family over for a BBQ. It usually gets very stressful when we try to prepare a lot of food for a party and I promised my husband this would be minimal stress.

  • Garlic Lemon Roasted Potatoes

    August 17, 2016

As a kinda-sorta-serious runner, I cherish my non-training days when I trade my shoelaces for flip-flops and just...walk. It's highly prized me-time, since most of my days are a whirlwind of work and cleaning and alltheboys. When I get to go on walks, I totally lose track of time. Like, it's 5pm and I still have zilch planned for dinner. And about 1% motivation to rush home to the stove. Know what I mean?

  • Oven Baked Pulled Pork Flautas with Avocado Crema

    August 17, 2016

These, my friends, are Pork Flautas. Some might call them Taquitos, others might say neither Flautas nor Taquitos, but wrapped-up Tacos. However, it doesn't matter what we call it because, reality says: this dinner-game is called, "How can I create a weeknight meal with authentic, fall-off-the bone BBQ pork, ready in minutes?!". To which I say, GAME ON!

  • Broccoli Cheddar Cornbread

    August 17, 2016

Our grill has been in overdrive this summer. We grill at least three times a week. Since we grill a lot, I am always trying to come up with new side dishes. I don't want dinner to get boring! Last week we were grilling up some delicious BBQ. We love homemade cornbread with BBQ, so I decided to jazz up our usual recipe and add some broccoli and cheese.
