  • 5 Must Have’s for a Successful Garage Sale + WIN a $100 Gift Card

    May 2, 2018

This weekend my oldest daughter talked me into a dreaded garage sale. Dreaded because it is a lot of work. Also dreaded because we are in the middle of pollen season here in South Texas and it can wreak havoc on me and my kids. Years ago, I watched as my youngest daughter, especially, battled the sniffles and sneezes and mosquitoes all at once. After living through that day, where nothing I had in the medicine cabinet worked, I headed to the store for Children’s Allegra® Allergy Relief.

  • WE ARE SO READY TO DO THESE 5 ACTIVITIES THIS SPRING

    May 2, 2018

If the weather is cooperating where you are and you’re not stuck inside anymore, you’re most likely elated. Here in NYC we had so many Nor’Easters that I’m completely over the snow. When the spring arrives my kids and I can’t wait to get outdoors. It feels like we’ve been cooped up in the house only leaving for school, extracurricular activities, church and play dates. Now we can get outdoors for some real outdoor fun an adventure. Atchhhoooo!

  • 5 Ways to Help Your Kids Connect With Nature: $100 Giveaway

    May 2, 2018

It’s close to the life I loved and pretty much lived as a kid! We lived on the top of a mountain, with very little traffic, and would play outside from morning until night. Those days seemed long and the weeks and months seemed endless. I only know now how fast summer must have seemed to my parents! When the streetlights came on at night, our parents would all call us in. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but it was life. It was routine. We would go to the streams behind our house to catch crayfish and salamanders under rocks. I climbed trees, rode bikes, rollerbladed, and ran through the trails in our woods. We would create big neighborhood games of Simon Says, Kick the Can, and organized baseball and soccer games.

  • TIPS TO CONQUER CHILDREN’S SPRING ALLERGIES

    May 3, 2018

I am beyond excited that Spring is here. Just over the past few weeks the weather has started warming up, the flowers have begun to bloom, and we’ve been gradually spending more time outside.  During these months of the year when the weather is wonderfully perfect for spending long hours outdoors, we love to be outside any chance we get….especially my youngest son. The minute he gets home from school in the afternoons, he throws on his play clothes and either heads out in the back yard or off to baseball or soccer practice and doesn’t come back in until the sun is setting.

    May 8, 2018

We’ve been traveling like crazy this month and with every new kids adventure comes a new onslaught of allergies for my kids. We try hard though not to have things like allergies stop us from enjoying all the kids adventure ideals we hold dear like exploring and fully experiencing a place.

  • TREATING SEASONAL ALLERGIES FOR KIDS: CHILDREN’S ALLEGRA TARGETS ITCHY EYES, COUGH, HAYFEVER AND MORE

    May 8, 2018

I’ve had seasonal allergies since I was a child, and unfortunately Harper and Grayson have them too.

Let’s be real, allergies are the worst. Runny noses, sneezing, itchy watery eyes, an itchy nose or throat.

I encourage my kids to be active outside, but their allergies can put a huge damper on that.

I think almost every mother has seen their child go through these things, and we don’t want our children to suffer.

    That’s why I use Children’s Allegra® Allergy Relief.
