Amy Boshnack to Drive Editorial Strategy as Editor in Chief of SheKnows.com
Tara Wacks Joins as VP, Ad Product and Strategy; Kate Durkin Comes On Board to Lead SheKnows’ Experts Among Us Platform
NEW YORK, NY — SheKnows, a leading women’s lifestyle media platform with more than 40 million unique visitors per month (comScore), announced today the addition of three new executives to its expanding Leadership Team.
SheKnows hand-selected Amy Boshnack to drive the development of its editorial strategy and voice. Her appointment as Editor in Chief of SheKnows.com follows on the heels of a career that includes significantly building CafeMom’s traffic with TheStir.com and holding leadership roles at Cosmopolitan, New York Magazine and WEtv.com. In her new role, Boshnack manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of the SheKnows.com editorial team. She is also responsible for launching original franchises and driving social voice.

In this newly created role, Wacks is leading the charge in strengthening SheKnows’ comprehensive and innovative suite of advertising solutions, including its already-robust branded content marketing offering. Wacks began her career in client services and has held various product marketing roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Product Marketing at WebMD.
In support of SheKnows’ ongoing commitment to Experts Among Us, Durkin was appointed to helm the development of the user-generated community for passionate subject-matter experts. She is responsible for scaling all aspects of the program, as well as streamlining and optimizing its advertising offering. Durkin brings more than a decade of leadership experience in advertising, community management, client services and marketing. In her previous role, she served as Recyclebank’s Vice President of Partnerships.
