The Pitch: Food Edition to Take Place Live Onstage at the Event on Nov. 6 in Chicago, Featuring Emerging Food Companies Founded by Women
NEW YORK, NY – October 14, 2015 – SheKnows Media, a leading women's media company with 83 million unique visitors a month1 and 246 million social media fans and followers2, today announced that The Pitch: Food Edition, will be a keynote session at #BlogHerFood15, the nation’s leading event for online food influencers.
This is the next milestone for The Pitch, a content series comprising videos, articles and community events that help women entrepreneurs craft their consumer pitches for exposure to the 83 million women who visit SheKnows Media’s sites each month. The Pitch, launched in July at #BlogHer15, provides valuable marketing support, including media distribution, consumer insights, and community support – all of which help female founders as they pursue customer adoption to take their ideas to the next level.
Videos featuring Pitch participants published since July have garnered more than one million page views, with the program enjoying coverage in such media outlets as Business Journal, Fast Company, Ebony and Tech Republic.
The Pitch: Food Edition keynote will feature four women founders from food-focused companies, who will present their Pitch to the #BlogHerfood15 audience and a panel of judges. Prior to the event, the SheKnows Media team will help each participant hone their consumer-value business proposition and will professionally produce a 60-second Pitch video via the company’s in-house production studio. The winning Pitch participant, as determined by a combination of judges' ranking and conference attendee popular vote, will receive a prize package that includes marketing, media and promotional support from SheKnows Media.
